Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will my manuscript be error-free after editing?
A: Editing, by nature, is a multi-round process; not all errors within the text may be caught within one or two rounds of editing. Most traditionally published books are edited multiple times throughout the book-making process, and even then, it is not uncommon to have a small number of grammatical errors within the book when it goes to print. For this reason, Writer’s Block Productions, LLC recommends multiple rounds of editing to ensure the cleanest manuscript for publication.
Q: Will I be able to speak directly with my editor?
A: While there is not direct communication with the editor, your editor will provide you with an Editorial Letter explaining the changes and recommendations he or she has made to your manuscript and may also include comments throughout the manuscript itself. The Writer’s Block Productions, LLC team will also be available throughout the editing process to answer any questions you may have
